Elida’s Adam Fletcher went 3-for-4 and put down the gamewinning bunt in the top of the seventh to lift the Bulldogs past Ayersville. Fletcher’s bunt went for a hit and when the first baseman made a throwing error, Matt Hampshire scored from second with the game-winning run. Mark Hagen went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Ayersville. Brandon Good tossed a complete-game victory for Elida. He struck out four and walked two. Elida is 2-4. Ayersville is 7-2.
