WBL Girls Cross Country
The Defiance High School Girls won the 2007 WBL Cross
Country Meet by placing five girls in the top ten
runners. Their total of 35 points easily outdistanced
second place Van Wert who finished with a total of 67
points. Mallory Bloom, a senior from Kenton was the
girls' individual winner with a time of 19: 21.72. |

WBL Boys Cross Country
The Celina High School Boys won the 2007 WBL Cross
Country Meet, but not until scoring the sixth runner to
break a tie with Defiance as both schools scored 56
points with their first five runners. Celina'a sixth
runner finished 25th and Defiance's sixth runner
finished 28th making the Bulldogs of Celina the 2007
champions. Shawnee's senior runner Chase Violet was the
individual champion with a time of 16: 16.66. |
