Prior to Ohio: Finished his high school career with 509 tackles, 20 sacks, 12 forced fumbles and nine interceptions… Earned First Team All-Ohio in both his junior and senior seasons… Three-time All-Northwest Ohio honoree… Named Defensive Player of the Year in Northwest Ohio following his senior year… Three-time Western Buckeye League (WBL) recipient… Named the WBL Defensive Back of the Year after his senior year… Four-year letterwinner… Posted a combined record of 33-15 during his time on the varsity football team… Helped his squad to the state playoffs in each of his final three years in high school… Guided his team to a 10-4 record and a trip to the Ohio State Semifinals during his junior year… Also competed on the varsity Track and Wrestling.

Kenton at Coldwater game will not be aired on ESPN

The official word from Paragon Marketing (sub contractor for ESPN) is that the Coldwater vs Kenton week 1 football game on ESPN has been denied due to lack of production money for that weekend of games. ESPN will be limiting the amount of HS games they air that opening week due to the lack of dollars for them.

Therefore, the Kenton @ Coldwater game will go on as scheduled on Friday, August 26th at 7:30 p.m.

12th annual Van Wert County Hospital All Star Football Game to be held 6/10.

The 12th annual Van Wert County Hospital All Star Football Game hosted by the Van Wert Booster Club will be held Friday June 10th, at Eggress Stadium in Van Wert, Ohio. The gates will open at 6:30 with player introductions taking place at 7:15. The game will kick off at 7:30pm.

Thirty three players from the Western Buckeye League will compete against a combined squad of thirty three players from the Midwest Athletic Conference & Northwest Conference.

This is a fundraiser for the Booster Club. Come out and enjoy some football.
