Former Defiance Assistant Coach lands Linebacker Coaching job at Michigan.

Mark Smith who began his career at Defiance High School as a secondary/linebackers coach from 1979-1981 is now on the staff at the University of Michigan as the linebackers coach. Smith was Brady Hoke’s defensive coordinator at Ball State and was also on staff at San Diego State.
