POSITION: HEAD VOLLEYABLL COACH
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum K-12 Teaching Certification or Licensure Preferred
Ideal candidates would:
- Have experience with developing a winning varsity volleyball program
- Be a positive motivator – A person who has great relationships with students, staff, community members, and coaches
- Be a coach that promotes at all levels – from 7-12 and community groups below 7th grade
- Be a “coach of coaches” – A coach that professionally develops other coaches
- Be a consistent leader, a person in charge that can guide all volleyball programming
- Be a head coach who has the ability to look at the strengths and weaknesses of coaches and put them where they need to be to utilize their talents for the best interest of the kids.
- Be a coach that has positive personal and professional conduct on and off the field
- Be a person who will locate in the community and be part of the community
- Be a coach that is confident as a decision-maker, makes decisions in a timely fashion, and does not have a problem of making decisions
- Be able to organize all aspects of a volleyball program, including inventory, equipment, evaluations, weight lifting, summer programs, and clinics
